Sioux North at Fort Frances Muskies

In a game heard on KGHS and rjbroadcasting.com, the Muskie girls hockey team hosted Sioux North last night at IFK Arena.  Two players, one from each team, were the highlights for the game.  For the Muskies, it was Piper Miller, who scored four times in the game and added an assist.  For the Warriors, it was Haylee Bouchard, who also scored 4 goals.  In the first period, it was Miller that opened the scoring just 1:07 into the game before Bouchard tied.  Miller got her second before the end of the first 20 minutes and the Fort led 2-1 after 1.  No scoring in the second led to an explosive third period when 9 goals would be scored including 6 in a row by the Muskies after Bouchard had tied the game at 2.  Scoring for the Fort were: Miller twice, then Jasmine Kinnear, Kathryn Fischer, Raelle Redford, and Tatum Glowasky.  After the game, Piper Miller said they new they needed to step up in the 3^rd.

Isabelle Fortes got the win in goal for the Muskies who are now off for the March break and will play at Dryden on Tuesday the 22nd.
