Fosston 3 Thief River Falls 0 (25-23, 25-18, 25-18)

Katelyn Vesledahl led the Fosston attack with 11 kills as the Greyhounds swept the Thief River Falls Prowlers in Fosston 3-0 (25-23, 25-18 & 25-18). The Greyhounds held off a late Prowler rally to take the first set 25-23. The Prowlers overcame a 20-12 deficit to tie the first set at 23-23 but the Greyhounds scored the final two points to win 25-23.The Greyhounds never trailed in either the second or third set as they improve to 23-4 overall. Tessa Manecke added seven kills and Brynlea Mahlen six kills for Fosston. Avah Waldal and Seraphim Johnson each had six kills for the Prowlers as they fall to 10-15 overall. The Greyhounds close out the regular season on Tuesday, October 18th when they play at Fertile-Beltrami (96.7 FM). The Prowlers also end the regular season on Tuesday, October 18th when they face the Warroad Warriors.
