Two Harbors at International Falls

The International Falls volleyball team played for the first time in 8 days as they opened the Section 7AA playoffs with a match against Two Harbors.  The match was tight early as the score was 8-8 before the Broncos got warmed up.  They would finish the match on a 17-4 run to take Set 1, 25-12.  The 2^nd and 3^rd sets were more of the same as the Broncos took those sets 25-11 and 25-11 to advance to the quarterfinals on Friday.  After the match, libero Karson Korpi who had 2 aces and I talked about her serving.

Bella Wille had 14 kills and a block to lead the Falls, Gracie Swenson had 12 kills, and Madison Wille with a bad shoulder had 11 kills.  Kale Taylor who was serving during an 11 point run in the 3^rd set finished with 4 aces.  The Broncos will now host Mesabi East on Friday night at 6:00 and we will have all the coverage with the pregame starting at 5:40 on Lakes Country 104.1 and rjbroadcasting.com.
