Virginia at International Falls

A busy night on the local schedule, let’s start at the Falls High Gym where the Bronco boys basketball team was facing the Virginia Blue Devils.    The Falls led 12-8 with just under 13 minutes left in the first half but from there, the Blue Devils took over the game and made 11 3-pointers in the game to down the Broncos 84-58.  After the game, sophomore Charlie Greenlee, who nailed two 3’s in the game, said the momentum changed midway thru the first half.

Owen Wherley and Knute Boerger each had 17 points to lead the Broncos while Jett Tomczak had 13.  The Falls boys are back on their home floor tomorrow night to face Greenway.
