Red Lake Falls, MN — The Red Lake Falls Eagles closed out their regular season with a 3-0 victory over the Win E Mac Patriots on Monday night.

Red Lake Falls Coach Nikki Gullingsrud said it was an emotional night for her senior heavy team, and those emotions played a part in set number one, that for the most part was back and forth. But in the final two sets, those emotions were put on the back burner as the Eagles soared to back to back double digit set wins to take the match 3-0. On Senior night, Eagles Freshman Shandi Nelson stole the show with 10 kills but Senior Emma Knott was solid with eight and Gabby Casavan had 6.

The Eagles Regular seasons ends with them being 18-8 overall and will await their seed in the Section 8A playoffs. The Patriots have now lost their 17th in a row and will be at home on Tuesday against the Lake Park-Audbon Raiders.
