The Ada Chamber of Commerce invites you to the “Old Fashioned Family Christmas” Festival in Ada, MN

December 4-7, 2025.

Thursday, December 4
9 am- 12 pm–Christmas Open House at Frandsen Bank Meat & cheese tray, Christmas Goodies, Cider & Coffee.
11 am- 1:00 pm–Annual Soup and Pie Day Drive-Up/Take Out at St. Joseph Catholic Church Dine in or take out our great homemade soups and pies! Also a Bake Sale!   (Fundraiser)

Friday, December 5
9am—4 pm—Holiday Open House at Mid MN Federal Credit Union. Enjoy coffee, hot cocoa, treats & a Christmas gift
9am—4 pm—Holiday Open House at BMO Bank  Enjoy holiday treats, coffee & cider.

Saturday,  December 6 9 –12 pm -Farmers Market at Kinfolk (314 E. Main St) Featuring local growers, bakers, makers & youth entrepreneurs
9 am—2:30 pm—Huge Craft/Vendor Show at Ada-Borup-West School (Cougar Den Multi-Purpose Room)
*Salvation Army Bell Ringers
*Local artist Buffy Rockstad offering Fingerprint Ornament making
9  – 11 am—Coffee & Rolls at Ada-Borup-West School Commons (fundraiser Hegne Hustlers 4-H & Woodland 4-H)
9  – 11 am—Shopping for Mom & Dad w/ Santa’s Elves at ABW School, Ms Crompton’s Room. Free Event Sponsored by ECFE
10 am – 1 pm -25th Annual Norman County Vintage Snowmobile Club’s Show & Chili Cook-off at Main Street Bar.  All ages welcome, all sleds welcome!! Free Registration 10 am-12 pm.  Awards at 1:00 pm for each class 60-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, Classic 85+, Best in Show, People’s Choice, & Vintage Attire.  Youth Class (non-judged)  Youth 10  & under will get a prize for bringing a snowmobile. Swap Area (limit 1 trailer and pick-up per person)  No charge.  Hot Chocolate and Smores for the kids!   Follow on Face book: Norman County Snowmobile Club.
11 am – 1 pm – Chili Cook-off for Vintage Snowmobile Club Members at Main Street Bar. Bring chili by 11 am.  Trophy and bragging rights to winner.  (Join the Club!)  Suggested donation $5.  (Bring your Chili by 11 am)
11 am—1 pm—Santa Claus arrives in Ada at the Ada-Borup-West School Multi-Purpose Room!  Event includes Cookie Decorating & Craft Projects.  **  Lunch served by Norman County 4-H Clubs.  11 am—2 pm—Music by the Cathy Erickson Band   Visit Santa, craft projects,  treats for kids & decorate cookies!  (sponsors: American Legion, Ada VFW, Ada-Borup-West FCCLA, City of Ada, Borup Community Club Gaming 01894, Arvig & Ada Chamber of Commerce)
11 am – 2 pm – Lunch served in Ada-Borup-West School Commons. Soup & sandwiches, hot dogs, bars & beverages.  (Fundraiser Hegne Hustlers 4-H & Woodland 4-H)
1—4 pm—Give Warmth & Greet Santa at Thrivent (215 W. Main St.) Thrivent & the Ada Biogirls will be collecting new and gently used coats/winter gear to give to families in need.   Bring your donation, greet Santa (fmsanta.com), enjoy hot Cocoa, shop deals at MegPie Boutique, taste yummy samples at Westside Nutrition & enjoy Christmas music!
2 pm—Christmas Movie in the Ada Event Center with free popcorn. Bring a pillow or blanket for your comfort.
3 pm—Ada-Borup-West School Theater presents  “Mary Poppins Jr”.  Free Admission for all students K-12 sponsored by Little Learners. (An Ada Food Shelf donation box will be available donations of non-perishable food items.)
4 pm—Christmas Movie in the Ada Event Center with free popcorn. Bring a pillow or blanket for your comfort.
4:30– 7 pm— Live Nativity Scene with Live Animals at Zion Lutheran Church.  Hot Cocoa & Bake Sale with lots of goodies in Church. Proceeds go to the Zion Lutheran Youth Group  (West 3rd and Jamison Drive) Parking available on north side of church)
4:30—10 pm—Huge Light Display Drive by at 209 N. Jamison Drive (Mike and Angie Nelson’s Christmas wonderland) Across from Zion Lutheran Church
7 pm—Ada-Borup-West School Theater presents “Mary Poppins Jr”   School Auditorium. Adults $8, Students $5
