Join the Crookston Public Library for a free workshop to create your very own 1’x1′ Barn Quilt with Mary Jo Schmid on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 1-4pm. Join the hands-on workshop and paint your very own Barn Quilt under the expert guidance of Mary Jo Schmid from Crooked Lane Farm Folk School.

As a retired Moorhead educator, Mary Jo brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to help you learn about this iconic folk art. Whether you are a seasoned crafter or a complete beginner, you’ll leave with a unique masterpiece ready to display.

All materials are provided. Registration is required, and registration will open on April 28^th.
