University of Minnesota Extension will present “Everything Equine and Wine” on Thursday, October 29, 2026 in Thief River Falls, offering local horse owners research-backed strategies for horse care alongside a relaxed social dinner.

The workshop runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at River and Rails Brewery, 324 2nd St E, Thief River Falls, MN beginning with check-in and dinner at 5:30 p.m. Tailored for horse owners ages 18 and older, the presentation lineup covers navigating Minnesota Paid Leave rules for horse lovers, practical parasite control strategies, and tips for extending hay supply. Registration is required by 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026. Dinner is provided with registration; alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase on-site.
