The 16^th annual Lakes Area Music Festival opens at 3 p.m. on July 28. From July 26 to Aug. 18, the Lakes Area Music Festival will be the summer home of more than 250 artists from the world’s most renowned orchestras and opera companies, and most festival events are offered on a pay-as-you wish ticketing structure. Most of the Lakes Area Music Festival’s Summer events take place at the Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts in Downtown Brainerd. visit lakesareamusic.org
