After Hours Book Club at Buck Mill Brewing Hosted by the Detroit Lakes Public Library — Selected Title: Quarry Girls by Jess Lourey Thursday, October 1 at 7 p.m.

Lake Agassiz Regional Library also offers a collection of nearly 70 Book Club Kits, which include a set of 10 copies of a selected title along with suggested questions to get the discussion going. Titles include Theo of Golden, Remarkably Bright Creatures, The Nightingale, The Frozen River and more. Library cardholders can borrow the kits for six weeks and can request a kit to pick up at a library or LINK Site near them at larl.org/bookclubkits.
