Fall is the perfect season for getting lost in a good book and sharing it with friends! Lake Agassiz Regional Library (LARL) is pleased to share a full schedule of book club gatherings scheduled this month. Whether you’re a lifelong reader or hoping to reignite a reading habit, your library’s welcoming book club will invite you to enjoy a lively discussion plus find your next great read. Book Club at the Hendrum Library LINK Site — Selected Title: Blind Your Ponies by Stanley Gordon West Monday, September 28 at 3 p.m.

Lunch with the Librarian at the Barnesville Public Library — Bring your lunch and discuss your latest reads with fellow readers. Tuesday, September 29 at 12-1 p.m.

After Hours Book Club at Buck Mill Brewing Hosted by the Detroit Lakes Public Library — Selected Title: Quarry Girls by Jess Lourey Thursday, October 1 at 7 p.m.

Lake Agassiz Regional Library also offers a collection of nearly 70 Book Club Kits, which include a set of 10 copies of a selected title along with suggested questions to get the discussion going. Titles include Theo of GoldenRemarkably Bright CreaturesThe Nightingale, The Frozen River and more. Library cardholders can borrow the kits for six weeks and can request a kit to pick up at a library or LINK Site near them at larl.org/bookclubkits.

LARL’s branch libraries are located in Ada, Bagley, Barnesville, Breckenridge, Climax, Crookston, Detroit Lakes, Fertile, Fosston, Hawley, Mahnomen, McIntosh and Moorhead. LARL’s LINK sites are found in Cormorant, Frazee, Gonvick, Halstad, Hendrum, Lake Park, Rothsay, Twin Valley and Ulen.
