NoKota Packers is inviting to the public to a ribbon-cutting and open house at its headquarters at 16218 13th St. N.E. in Buxton on Thursday, March 27 at 4 p.m.

The event has been organized to celebrate the company’s 45 years of premium potato packing in the Red River Valley, as well as to showcase NoKota’s recent automation upgrades in conjunction with the North Dakota Department of Agriculture and the Traill County Economic Development Commission.

The schedule of events on March 27 includes a 4 p.m. ribbon-cutting and remarks, and also features tours of the plant, food samples and giveaways. All are welcome.
