City of Twin Valley Cleanup Day
The City of Twin Valley Spring clean up day is Thursday, April 23, 2026
It is time to start thinking about those items that you wish to dispose of! Fuch’s Sanitation will pick up the following categories
Category One—Regular Household Garbage, Cardboard, Plastic Items.
Category Two—Limited building materials, sheet rock, carpet and flooring remnants (4’ lengths, rolled and tied.)
Category Three—Furniture & Mattresses.

FUCH’S WILL NOT PICK UP ANY SCRAP METAL, APPLIANCES, BROWN GOODS, or LUMBER. The city offers the following resources for these items—
SCRAP METAL – A large dumpster located at the old city shop on 1st Street SE is available throughout the year for scrap metal disposal. (This includes metal appliances)
TIRES – Can be disposed of for a fee at the Community Coop between the hours of 8am – 5pm.
BROWN GOODS – Contact the Norman County Landfill, Glen Visser, 218-415-0190 to dispose. Fees may apply.

LEAF HAULING – Every Monday starting in May, leaves in clear bags will be collected. NO BLACK BAGS. The City has clear bags available as needed.
BRUSH HAULING – ONLY the 1st Monday of the month unless other special arrangements have been made with the City Hall 584-5254. Piles will NOT be picked up if larger than 2ft wide x 2ft high x 5ft lengths and piles must be bundled.

The Twin Valley Nuisance Committee will be doing property inspections in early May. To avoid any fines or citations, please dispose of any unwanted or nuisance items during clean up week.
