Two Dead, One Injured In Mahnomen County Crash

Two people are dead and another person was injured after a one vehicle accident early Friday morning in Mahnomen County.  At 1:50am, law enforcement, EMS and fire crews responded to a crash on 270th Avenue south of 270th Street, near Beaulieu.  22-year-old Bobby Weaver of Naytahwaush and 19-year-old Aaliyah Ironcloud of Mahnomen were both pronounced dead at the scene.  22-year-old Glen Weaver of Naytahwaush was taken by ambulance to Mahnomen Health Center with serious injuries.  The Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office says speed was a contributing factor to the accident; no word if alcohol or controlled substances played a part in the crash.
