The May-Port-C-G Patriots tallied their 75th win combined between volleyball, girls basketball, and softball with a 12-0 victory over Hillsboro-Central Valley. The Patriots put up three runs in the top of the first and never looked back, adding a run in the third, two in the fourth, and capping off the offense with a six-run sixth.

Parker Strand led the Patriot offense, going 3-4 with a pair of RBI singles, a triple, and three runs scored. Maysa Larson picked up three hits, Raina Satrom drove in three runs, and Hudson Zerface notched a three-run home run to push the Patriots to 14-2.

Rylee Satrom shut down the HCV offense from the circle, striking out thirteen batters and allowing just two hits and a walk. Kailee Kittelson and Aaliyah Hjelmstad picked up the lone hits for the Burros.

HCV drops to 4-14 with the loss. Both teams close out their regular season. The Patriots await an opponent in Saturday’s Region Two Softball Tournament Quarterfinals while the Burros will face Enderlin in the Region One Tournament, also on Saturday.
