North Dakota State B Softball Tournament – May-Port CG vs Velva-Drake/Anamoose

JAMESTOWN, ND – Velva-Drake/Anamoose picked upset the #1 overall seed with a 2-1 over May-Port CG on Thursday in the State Class B softball quarterfinals.
Cienna Clemens drove in both runs for the Addies with a 2 RBI triple with two outs in the top of the third inning. Clemens also picked up the win in the circle, giving up 1 run on 7 hits, 2 walks and 5 strikeouts.
Rylee Satrom gave the Patriots their only run of the contest with a solo homer in the bottom of the first inning.
Velva-Drake/Anamoose plays Kindred-Richland in the semifinals at 6 p.m. on Friday, while MPCG tangles with Des Lacs-Burlington/Lewis & Clark in the consolation semifinals at 1 p.m. You can listen to both broadcasts on yourliveevent.com.
