Fosston school districts strategic plan included the creation of new classes that provide more access to and information about careers and technical education. This 2021-2022 school year, the district fulfilled part of the plan by hiring a licensed agricultural teacher, Myla Donovan and reinstating the FFA program. Donavan lists the wide variety of ag-related classes students can participate in at Fosston High School.

17 Fosston students qualified for the state FFA convention which took place April 24th through 26th in the twin cities. In addition to competing in their area of expertise, the convention offered students opportunities for career connections, networking, leadership workshops, educational tours and more. Junior Mikayla Hove is the Fosston FFA Chapter Secretary and a member of the Crops team.

Congratulations to Myla Donavan and Fosston FFA Chapter state participants for representing Fosston strong at the convention this week.
