Clearbrook-Gonvick School Board Meets

The Clearbrook-Gonvick School Board held their monthly meeting on March 20th and had a busy agenda. The Finance Committee will be meeting to discuss a new phone system, a sander for the parking lots or someone to do the job. Currently 29 Clearbrook-Gonvick students have received the Backpack Buddies Food Program as students received a bag each Friday to take home for the weekend. Thirty-six students had pre-school screening with the school staff and nursing services providing the screening. The Clearbrook-Gonvick School District received $9000 for the Summer Learning program and a summer trip at the end of the program. Sarah Goudge was hired as an assistant Track & Field Coach for this spring with practice starting up on March 20th. Superintendent Ryan Grow gave his report and stated they are still looking for a full time custodian and extra curricular bus drivers for the school district. April 3rd is the date for the start of MCA testing with the testing being complete by April 28th. The Clearbrook-Gonvick school board is scheduled to meet again on April 17th at 7:00 pm.
