BBB Ada-Borup-West at Pelican Rapids

A 9-0 run early in the second half gave the Ada-Borup-West Cougars a lead they maintained the rest of the game in defeating the Pelican Rapids Vikings 67-53. With ten lead changes in the first half the teams see-sawed back and forth with the largest leads for both teams being four-points in the first half that ended with the Vikings up 29-26. After not making a three-point shot in the first half the Cougars hit on a pair of them quickly after halftime to take a 36-34 lead with 15:43 remaining. Once establishing that lead, the Cougars would not let the Vikings get any closer from that point on as they closed out the game for the 67-53 victory. Both teams sport overall records of 21-4 after the game as the Vikings finish out the regular season next Friday versus Hillcrest Lutheran Academy while the Cougars travel to the Northern Freeze on Tuesday and to Warren-Alvarado-Oslo on Friday next week to finish out their regular season.
