The Ada-Borup-West Cougars entered the Section 8A softball tournament this year as the #10 seed and faced off with #7 Northern Freeze in the opening round. The Cougars would jump out to a 3-0 lead through 4 innings, but would end up losing in walk off fashion in the bottom of the 7th to lose 5-4 on an inside the park 2-run home run by Brooklyn Dahl.

Callie Solseng pitched all 7 innings for the Cougars, striking out 10 batters.
