Beaver Brae at Fort Frances Muskies

The Fort Frances winter court teams opened their seasons by hosting Beaver Brae.  The senior girls volleyball team got things started on KGHS and rjbroadcasting.com.  The first set went to the Broncos by a score of 25-18 but the Muskies showed some life at the end of that first set and won Set 2, 25-15.  It looked like Fort Frances was going to take control of the match as they led Set 3 23-18, but Beaver Brae scored 7 straight to take a 2 sets to 1 lead.  The Muskies took control of the 4^th set early and won 25-19 to force a 5^th set.  Fort Frances would complete the comeback winning the 5^th, 15-9.  After the match, Brooke Marchuk says she is working at her move from setter to hitter.
