Bigfork at International Falls
Recap
In a game heard on K104 and rjbroadcasting.com and seen on Your Live Event.com, the Bronco boys basketball team hosted Bigfork. The first half was a seesaw affair as the lead changed hands 6 times but the Falls held the edge at the break by a scored of 26-24. The Broncos built a 38-30 lead only to see the Huskies go on a 10-1 run to take the lead 40-39. The Falls would immediately take the lead back after a timeout and would not trail again as they won 60-53. Senior Tucker Budris played in his first game of the season and scored 8 points and says he brought another threat to the other team.
Jett Tomczak led the Falls in scoring with 17 points and Knute Boerger had 16. The victory was the first of the season for the Bronco boys and they will try to make it a streak next Tuesday at Mesabi East in a 2:00 game.
