THOMPSON, ND – The #9 Thompson Tommies picked up their 13th win of the season on Thursday, defeating the Carrington Cardinals, 59-56.

The Tommies were led by junior guards Brayden Wolfgram and Drew Overby, who both scored 17 points. Wolfgram had 14 points in the first half, and Overby scored 14 points in the second half. Sophomore forward Jakob Starcevic had a pair of clutch And-1 layups down the stretch to take the lead late in the fourth quarter.

Carrington had a balanced attack on offense, with four players scoring at least ten points. Sophomore Josh Bickett led the team in scoring with 14 points, including 11 being scored in the second half. Carrington had built up a lead as large as 8 points in the 3rd quarter, which was the largest lead of the game.
