Cass Lake-Bena at Pine River-Backus
Recap
Pine River-Backus continued their dominance over the Cass Lake-Bena Panthers in volleyball with a three-game sweep to end their conference season.
In all three sets, the Tigers were able to build big leads, mix up their lineups, and keep Cass Lake-Bena on their heels. The Panthers simply didn’t have an answer for the Tigers this night. These two schools have met at least once every year since 2008, with PRB holding an unblemished 18-0 record in that span.
Cass Lake-Bena (5-13, 1-6 Northland) finishes their regular season tomorrow vs. Northome-Kelliher, while PRB (17-6, 5-2) has won eleven straight and ends regular season play at the Upsala Tournament Thursday.
