Clearbrook-Gonvick at Climax-Fisher (F)

The Climax Fisher Knights (7-5) hosted the Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears (4-2) in Minnesota Section 8A Girls Volleyball during Knights Homecoming. The Knights took advantage of the homecoming energy enroute to a straight-sets victory: 25-15, 25-16-25-19

Set 1: The Knights charged out on a 4-0 run and never relinquished the lead with a 25-15 victory. The Knights combined for eight aces in the opening set.

Set 2: It was a pretty even 2nd set with the teams tied at 11. From that point on it was all Knights as Climax-Fisher went on a 14-5 run to close out the set, 25-16

Set 3: Clearbrook-Gonvick had the early lead but the Knights rallied, pulling away to finish off the match, 25-19

Climax-Fisher finished the night with eleven aces. Peyton Hoffman led the Knights in kills with 12. Allison Lavine led Clearbrook-Gonvick in kills with seven. Climax-Fisher is at Park Christian on Thursday while Clearbrook-Gonvick is at Cass Lake-Bena.
