Clearbrook-Gonvick at Mahnomen-Waubun

Recap

The Clearbrook Gonvick Bears had to battle back from a 2-0 deficit to get a 3-2 win over the Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds 25-27, 22-25, 25-21, 25-13, 15-13.  The Thunderbirds used good serving and hitting to begin the match and got to a lot of tough balls to win the first 2 sets.  The Bears would start to gain momentum in the 3rd set after being down early they would get the hitters going and go on big service runs to win the 3rd set, and in the 4th it was a huge service run to start which would make it tough for the Thunderbirds to come back, and would send the match to a 5th set.  In the 5th it was back and forth with the Bears taking an early lead only to see the Thunderbirds battle back to tie it at 13.  The Bears would get a big hit and a tip to end the set and win the match.  The Bears are now 3-1 while Mahnomen Waubun drops to 0-5.
