Crookston 64, Climax-Fisher  46

Hunter Nicholas and Caden Boike both scored ten points in the second half as Crookston rolled to a 64-46 boys’ basketball victory over Climax-Fisher Thursday night in Crookston.

The Pirates scored the game’s first seven points, but Climax-Fisher pulled to within 15-14.  Then Crookston went on a 7-0 run to stay in front, which they did the rest of the evening.

Nicholas had 14 points for Crookston, with Isaac Thomforde adding 13 and Boike ten.  The Pirates are now 5-7 on the year and play at East Grand Forks Friday night.

Ryan Morris had a game-high 17 points for Climax-Fisher with Ethan Evitts adding 15.  The Knights have lost seven in a row and are now 2-10 for the season.  Climax-Fisher will host Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Tuesday night in Fisher.
