East Polk vs. Badger/Greenbush-Middle River

Badger/Greenbush-Middle River scored three runs in the first inning and went on to defeat the East Polk North Stars 5-1 in Greenbush. Teagan Landsrud homered in the third inning for the Gators as they improve to 18-4 overall. The North Stars scored their only run in the fourth inning when Lexi Mahlen doubled and came home to score on a single by Alyssa Morberg. Both teams had five hits in the game. Sierra Westberg picked up the win in the circle for B/G-MR and struck out three East Polk batters. Quinn Vacura and Kailey Hanson had back to back doubles in the first inning for the Gators. B/G-MR will now face Red Lake Falls on Tuesday, May 28th in the winners bracket of the Section 8A Tournament.
