On a night that saw the C-team and JV matches go three sets, it seems only fitting the the Varsity match would go the distance as well.  Ada Borup West had to come back from the depth of being down 2-1 after the third set going to Fertile Beltrami 25-8, to battle back and take set four, then rally in the fifth set as well, earning a win on their home floor on Tuesday night.  The first set saw 9 ties with Fertile Beltrami closing out a 25-23 win.  The Cougars served well and jumped out to a 9 point lead in set two, earning a 25-19 victory.  Fertile Beltrami controlled the whole third set and the Cougars couldn’t do anything right, falling 25-8.  They battled back and flipped the script in set four, leading at one point 20-11, winning 25-18.  The fifth set saw the last tie at 9-9, and the Cougars would earn the final points in a big Section and Conference match.
