The Cougars scored five runs in the second, four in the third, and a single run in the fourth on just five hits as the Falcons struggled to find the strike zone from the mound. Meanwhile, Austin McCraven allowed only two hits in his five innings of work for the Cougars, and he also had the big hit for the Cougars with a bases-clearing 3-RBI Triple in the third inning. The Cougars are now 5-1 overall and travel to Fosston on Tuesday while the Falcons drop to 1-4 and will face Bagley next on Thursday.
