The Fertile-Beltrami Falcons played one of their strongest matches of the season as they swept the Greyhounds at Fosston. The Falcons used a strong attack and net play as they end the regular season at 16-10 overall and 7-2 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. Mary Jo Dunbar recorded 8 kills and Grace Proulx had 7 kills for Fertile-Beltrami. Tessa Manecke and Brynlea Mahlen each had kills for Fosston as the Greyhounds end the regular season at 17-10 overall and 6-3 in conference play. Both teams were coming off matches the night before with Fertile-Beltrami defeating Red Lake County Central and Fosston losing to Thief River Falls. Fertile-Beltrami won the “B” Squad match 2-0 with Fosston winning the “C” Squad match 2-1.
