Fertile-Beltrami vs Nevis

The first game of the Breakdown Classic pitted the Fertile Beltrami against unbeaten Nevis, and the fans were treated to an overtime thriller, leading to the Falcons handing Nevis their first loss of the season, a 61-58 final score.  The lead would never be more than seven points in the game, when Nevis led 15-8.  Fertile Beltrami fought back and took the lead 31-30 at halftime.  The second half saw five ties, and the Falcons of Fertile Beltrami leading by as many as five points, and entered overtime tied at 51.  The Falcons had big shots from Mason Nowacki and Bryer Strem and a couple of baskets from Caiden Swenby in the Overtime session, and would hang on for the win in Perham.
