Fort Frances Lakers at Red Lake Miners

The Fort Frances Lakers took the road to play a 2-game weekend series at Red Lake.  On Friday, the Miners led 1-0 after 1 and 2-1 after 2 periods as Brandon Rossetti scored for the Lakers.  Red Lake stretched the lead to 4-1 but the Lakers were not done.  Clark Scaddan scored with 1:46 left to make it 4-2 and Rossetti scored his 2^nd of the game with 49 seconds left to make it a one-goal game.  However, the rally fell short as Fort Frances lost 4-3.  Then on Saturday, Red Lake shut out the Lakers 4-0.  Kaden King stopped 34 of 38 shots for Fort Frances who will play at Wisconsin tomorrow at 7:05.
