Fort Frances Muskies at St. Thomas Aquinas

The Fort Frances Muskie hockey teams returned to action after nearly two months off as they were in Kenora to face St. Thomas Aquinas.  The boys game was played first and the Muskies wasted no time as Noah McPherson scored 1:43 into the game.  Ashton Barnes, Landon Lowes, and Bo Gartzke also scored in the first period as the Fort led 4-0 after 1.  Lowes scored in the second and Klyde Laplante added a marker in the third for the final margin of 6-0.  After the game, Nolan Mann says the boys were a little out of shape with the 2.5 months off.

Goalie Karson Lowry stood tall for the shutout.  With the win, the Muskie boys are now 10-1 on the season.
