The Fosston Greyhounds defeated the Ada-Borup-West Cougars 66-49 to win the Pine to Prairie Conference championship Saturday afternoon at Win-E-Mac. The Greyhounds led 30-24 at halftime but the Cougars would come back to take a 33-30 lead. The Greyhounds tied the game at 33-33 and went on to outscore the Cougars 33-16 for the rest of the game. Zach Theis nailed a three pointer right before halftime to give the Greyhounds a six point lead at the break. The Greyhounds had four players in double figures and were led by Aaron Norland with 17 points. Zach Theis scored 14 points and Cullen Norland and Carsen Boushee each scored 10 points for Fosston as they improve to 19-4 overall. Austin McCraven scored 14 points and Cameron Spaeth added 13 points for Ada-Borup-West as the Cougars suffered their fourth straight loss and fall to 16-7 overall. It was the second win for the Greyhounds over the Cougars this season with Fosston winning 68-57 on February 2nd in Fosston.
