The Fosston Greyhounds overcame an 11 point deficit in the first half and went on to defeat the Goodridge/Grygla Chargers 71-65 in Fosston. The Greyhounds trailed 36-30 at halftime but took a 40-39 lead with 11:43 remaining in the game. Hudson Boushee led the Greyhounds with 19 points as Fosston improved to 9-12 overall. Trevor Vig hit three 3 pointers and scored 13 points for Fosston while Kelton Gray and Dawson Bailie each scored 10 points for the Greyhounds . Blake Rychlock led Goodridge/Grygla with 26 points with 21 of those points coming in the first half. Lewis Jones added 16 points for the 17th ranked Chargers as Goodridge/Grygla falls to 18-5 overall. The Chargers came into the game having won nine of their last ten games including an overtime win over Red Lake County on Tuesday. Hudson Boushee shot 10 of 11 at the free throw line for Fosston. Goodridge/Grygla won the “B” squad game 62-44.
