Hillsboro-Central Valley 67, Grafton 52

For the second time this season, the Hillsboro-Central Valley boys basketball team defeated Grafton on Monday night, 67-52 in Hillsboro.

Senior forward Peter Dryburgh led the Burros with 27 points, with Jacob Brandt adding 18.  Hillsboro-Central Valley out-rebounded Grafton 50-27 and made 15 of 26 free throws, compared with the Spoilers going 5 for 12 at the foul line.

Braylon Baldwin led tenth-ranked Grafton with 24 points, including five three-point baskets.  Tony Villareal added ten for the Spoilers.

Hillsboro-Central Valley improves to 9-6 overall and 6-1 in Region 2 play.  The Burros take on Drayton/Valley-Edinburg Tuesday night in Central Valley.

Grafton is now 9-5 overall and 6-3 in Region 2 play.  The Spoilers are off until Friday when they host Kindred.
