Thompson 3, Hatton-Northwood 0 (25-22, 25-12, 25-14)

Thompson’s volleyball team improved to 21-10 on the season Friday with a three set sweep of Hatton-Northwood in Thompson.

Senior Brenna Martin had 16 kills and 1.5 blocks for the Tommies, who are now 6-1 in Region 2 play. Jordyn Tozer and Dru Schwab had six kills apiece for Thompson, with Sydney Schwabe adding four service aces.

Kennison Azure had eight kills, a block and an ace for Hatton-Northwood (5-9, 3-6).  Thea Letcher had three blocks for the Thunder.

Thompson returns to the court Saturday afternoon to host Larimore in the Tommies’ final home game of the year.  It’s also their day to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s Disease.

Hatton-Northwood hosts Hillsboro-Central Valley on Monday night.
