The Hillsboro/Central Valley Burros withstood the rally from the Kindred Vikings to take the win in five-sets; 25-19, 25-19, 15-25, 21-25, 15-8. The match started with two tighly contested sets that saw the Burros pull away late to win both by 25-19 score for the 2-0 lead. But the Vikings rallied. They controlled the third set to win 25-15 and their block helped them overcome a late hole to rally for the fourth set win 25-21 to set up the final set. The teams traded points early in the decisive set before the Burros offense rediscovered their early match success and ended up winning the set 15-8 and the match 3-2.

The Burros are now 3-3 and travel to Drayton/Valley-Edinburg on Thursday while the Vikings, now 1-2, will travel to Tri-State on Thursday.
