Hillsboro-Central Valley’s boys forced 20 turnovers and outrebounded Park River/Fordville-Lankin 47-25 en route to a 67-36 victory over the Aggies Friday night in Park River.
The Burros jumped to a 20-4 start, but saw Park River/Fordville-Lankin cut that margin to 25-17 at halftime. Hillsboro-Central Valley regained command in the second half and rolled to their fourth consecutive victory and fifth in their last six games.
Four Burros scored in double figures: Jacob Brandt with 17, Peter Dryburgh 15, Landon Olson 13 and Micah Longthorne 12. HCV is now 11-8 overall and 8-1 in Region 2 play.
Mitchell Sheirek had nine points for Park River/Fordville-Lankin. The Aggies are now 6-11 overall and 4-7 in Region 2 play.
