Recap

The International Falls boys hockey team had an interesting battle in Ely last night.  The Broncos scored the first 3 goals of the game and the last three goals of the game in a 6-4 win.  International Falls led 2-0 after the first period but trailed 4-3 after two.  The Broncos would tie it about 6 minutes into the third on Nate Dremmel’s second goal of the contest, and Braden Skifstad would tally the game winner with exactly one minute left in the third period.  Parker Sivonen scored his second of the night into an open net for the final margin.   Defensemen Cody Joslyn had 3 assists on the night while Ben Glowack and Skifstad each had 2 helpers.  The Falls has now won 2 games in a row and will be off until they play in the Hockeytown Holiday Classic in Warroad next Wednesday through Friday.  We will have Thursday’s and Friday’s games on K104.
