International Falls at Section 7A Cross Country

The International Falls cross country teams competed in the Section 7A meet in Cloquet yesterday.  On the boys side, the Broncos placed 13^th as a team with a score of 296.  Greenway-Nashwauk-Keewatin is the champion with a score of 48 and Esko was second with 70.  Individually, senior Anthony Scholler was 19^th which was 3 spots out of going to state but says he did his best.

Other boys finishers were Colton Hollis in 79^th, Camden Deedrick 80^th, Carter Line 87^th, Wyatt Jantzen 88^th, and Max Youso 101^st.  Those last two boys were running their first ever varsity race.

For the Bronco girls, they took 10^th place as a team with a score of 211.  Carlton with a score of 75 is the section champion with South Ridge in 2^nd with 91.  Abbi Hutchinson missed qualifying for state by 3 places as she finished 12^th.  Senior Ryan Ford came in in 35^th place and says it was a good day overall.

Other Bronco girls finishers saw Jaeleigh Carlson place 59^th, Nora Sullivan 61^st, Bailey Herberg 63^rd, Madalynn Saxton 72^nd, and Summer Hesseldahl 78^th.
