International Falls at Warren-Alvarado-Oslo

The Bronco track and field teams were in Warren on Tuesday to participate in the Section 8A True Team meet.  In a true team meet, each team can only enter 2 athletes per event and every entry scores at least 1 point for the team.

The Falls boys only had 9 participants but took 7^th place as a team out of the 14 teams that took part.  Top finishes for the Broncos

Braden Skifstad: 3^rd in Discus, 4^th in Shot put

Colton Hollis:  5^th in Shot put

Anthony Scholler:  5^th in the 400 m

Ezra McGonigle:  7^th in the 300 m hurdles

Wyatt Jantzen: 7^th in the 110 m hurdles

4 x 100 team of Hollis, McGonigle, Skifstad, and Christian Davidson placed 6^th

4 x 400 team of Scholler, Jantzen, Josh Wherley, and Adrion Mannausau took 7th

The Bronco girls took 4^th out of 14 teams with 639 points.  West Central won the title with 729.5 points followed by Ada-Borup and Crookston.  The Falls got a 1^st place finish by Abbi Hutchinson in the 1600 meter run and first places by two relay teams.

The 4 x 400 team of Bailey Herberg, Ryan Ford, Hutchinson, and Maddie Lowe won in 4:28.35.

The 4 x 800 team of Lowe, Nora Sullivan, Hutchinson, and Ryan Ford crossed the line in 10:49.94.

Other top individual finishes:

Nora Sullivan: 7^th in the 1600 m run

Ryan Ford: 2^nd in 800 m run, 4^th in Pole Vault

Quianna Ford: 3^rd in Pole Vault

Maddie Lowe: 4^th in 300 m hurdles, 7^th in Discus

Lila Wood: 4^th in 3200 m run

The 4 x 100 relay placed 3^rd and the 4 x 200 relay took 6^th.
