International Falls Broncos

The International Falls girls swimming and diving team hosted the Iron Range Conference meet yesterday afternoon seen on Your Live Event.com.  Rock Ridge was the team champion with 551 points, Mesabi East second with 524, and the Broncos in third with 345.  Top finishes for the Falls individually:

Quianna Ford: 1^st in 100 Breaststroke

Kendra Kalstad: 3^rd in 100 Breaststroke

Jillian Bilben: 3^rd in 50 Free, 4^th in 100 Butterfly

Kieren Ford: 3^rd in Diving

Sylvia Valenzuela: 6^th in 500 Free

In the relays, the 200 Medley Relay of Mary Versteeg, Quianna Ford, Bilben, and Kalstad 3^rd, the 200 Free Relay of Versteeg, Quianna Ford, Kalstad, and Bilben 4^th, and the 400 Free Relay of Valenzuela, Quianna Ford, Kalstad, and Versteeg 5^th.

Double winners included 8^th grader Samantha Bartovich from Rock Ridge in the 200 Free and the 500 Free and Adrianna Sheets from Mesabi East in the 50 Free and 100 Free.  If you missed any of the meet yesterday, you can go to Your Live Event.
