International Falls Broncos at North Woods

Recap

The International Falls volleyball team improved to 2-0 on the season as they had to rally to defeat North Woods 3 sets to 2.  The Broncos had to comeback to win Set 1 25-22 and then lost the next 2 sets by the scores of 26-24.  The Falls won the 4^th set 25-19 and then easily won Set 5, 15-5.  Gracie Swenson had 17 kills and 4 aces, Bella Wille had 17 kills and 6 blocks and Madison Wille 13 kills, 2 blocks, and 2 aces.  The two setters had big nights as Kale Taylor had 22 set assists and Aubrey Pavleck had 20.  The Bronco volleyball team will be on the road again on Thursday as they will be at Mountain Iron-Buhl.

The Bronco JV volleyball team played 3 sets for the second consecutive match and lost by scores of 19-25, 25-22, and 16-14.  The C-team also lost in 3 sets, 19-25, 25-18, and 15-6.  The 8^th grade won 25-7 and 25-19 including Allison Zika with 20 straight serves in Set 1.  The 7^th grade won in 3 sets 25-15, 20-25, and 15-10.
