BBB Kittson Co Central at Climax-Fisher

The Kittson County Central Bearcats outlasted the Climax-Fisher Knights for a 61-53 road victory. The Bearcats held a large advantage in rebounds with a 45-22 edge, and 19 offensive rebounds gave them extra chances to score. An 8-0 run in the last three minutes of the first half gave KCC a 30-29 lead at the break, and in the second half they build up a 47-33 lead with eight minutes remaining. The Knights would not go quietly as a 14-0 run of their own tied it at 47-47 with 4:38 remaining. The Bearcats came up with the next big play with a three-pointer and then a steal followed by an and-one score quickly made it 53-47. The knights brought it within two in the final minute before the Bearcats extended the lead from the line for the win. KCC improves to 11-12 overall and ends the regular season on the road at Crookston next Friday. Climax-Fisher falls to 3-22 and will host Walker-Hackensack-Akeley next Thursday in their regular season finale.

Climax-Fisher wins the Junior High game 39-20. Kittson County Central wins the JV game 53-35.
