The Northern Cass Jaguars welcomed the Lisbon Broncos Tuesday night for a Region One Volleyball matchup. The Jaguars did not disappoint their home fans on senior night, as they rolled to a straight sets victory: 25-15, 25-12, 25-16.

Northern Cass trailed briefly in the first set, but a 9-0 run gave the Jaguars plenty of momentum for the rest of the match. Northern Cass would not trail the rest of the way.

Senior, Josie Jensen, led the Jaguars with eleven kills, four blocks, and an ace. Senior, Ellie Lucas, and junior, Addy Winterquist also combined for 17 kills in the win. Senior, Kyra Haecherl led the Broncos with six kills while classmate, Clarissa Hoffer added ten blocks in the loss.

Northern Cass locks up the number one seed in next month’s Region One Tournament with the victory and closes out their season with a pair of road matchups at Langdon Area-Edmore-Munich on Thursday and Hankinson on Monday. Lisbon also closes out their season on the road on Friday with a trip to Sargent County.
