Littlefork-Big Falls at Mountain Iron-Buhl

The Littlefork-Big Falls volleyball traveled to Mountain Iron-Buhl to face the Rangers in the opening round of the Section 7A playoffs in a game heard on K104 and rjbroadcasting.com.  The first set was close early but then MIB put together two big runs and took the set, 25-13.  The second set looked a lot like the first set as the Rangers built a 22-9 lead, but then the Vikings went on a run where they scored 16 of the next 18 points to take the lead 25-24 which gave LBF an opportunity to win the second set.  However, the Rangers would prevail 30-28.  MIB would then go on to sweep the match with a 25-17 win in Set 3.  Senior Destiny Piekarski led the Vikings with 18 kills and 3 blocks and freshman Anissa Wimmer had 5 kills and 2 ace serves.
