Win-E-Mac 3 Mahnomen-Waubun 0 (25-23, 25-13, 25-20)

Despite a slow start to the night, the WEM Patriots would rally around a strong serving performance to move on in the section 8A Volleyball playoffs with a win over Mahnomen Waubun 3-0.  The Thunderbirds came out hot in the 1st set leading 18-12, thats when WEM would send Kianna Tadman to the sevice line, she would rattle 9 straight service points to give the Patriots a 22-18 lead, and from there WEM would continue to roll the rest of the night.  Mahnomen Waubun would make a couple of runs in the 3rd set to cut a WEM lead, but the Patriots would hit the ball well as they did all night long to get the win.  WEM now moves on the THursday at 5-22 while Mahnomen Waubun ends their season at 5-21 graduating 1 senior.
