It was a tight battle that saw the Maple River Raiders come out on top with a 3-1 win over the Hillsboro/Central Valley Burros, 22-25, 25-22, 33-31, 25-22. The teams battled for momentum early as they split the first two sets before a marathon on a third set. In the third the largest margin either team had was only three points with both teams fighting off multiple set-points from the other before Maple River would find a way to take the set. The Raiders then took the momentum into the fourth and lead 16-9 before the Burros closed the gap. But that seven point lead was to great for the Burros to overcome and the Raiders took the victory in four sets.
