The May-Port CG Patriots opened the 2023 season with a bang, defeating the defending Class B champions in Hunter on Tuesday night.

Raina Satrom paced the Patriots with 11 kills, Rylee Satrom added10 kills and Danica Hanson had 9 kills for MPCG. The Patriots have their home opener on September 5 against Nelson County.

Josie Jensen recorded a match high 19 kills & Ellie Lucas had 11 kills for Northern Cass. The Jaguars return to the court on Thursday hosting the Oak Grove Grovers in their Region 1 opener. You can watch the contest on yourliveevent.com at 7:30.
